Back on the Block !!!

The slowing of the Corporate Entertainment market is forcing a lot of musicians out of full time playing & into teaching or, worse still, A REAL JOB!!!! Happily I haven't had to go that far, but I am teaching &, more importantly, playing real live pub gigs again. I never thought I'd say that I missed it but I have & it's great to be back out amongst the public at large.

The Music industry is changing! My recent trip to L.A., Vegas & Nashville confirmed what I've been thinking for a long time. We need to look at new ways of getting our music heard. I am heading back to my website, to take a more direct approach at communicating & marketing.
The most common complaints I get are;
How can we find out where you're playing?
How can we buy your CDs & your songs?

We've got a lot of changes and new things coming to the website - with Facebook, Myspace etc. it's all got too hard to handle so My webmaster Tomo (my son) @ Jargon free IT & I are working on making this site BV central with music downloads, fotos & the latest news. So keep an eye on it. I'm recording demos for an album of country tunes, I'm making Youtube clips of a couple of my songs & I have a song submitted for the upcoming movie of 'Dirt Music' the book by Tim Winton. http://www.myspace.com/loverustler
